This is really well done, the dedicated ~test DNS route so omarchy dns can't break it is a smart touch đź‘Ś Any plans for a local mail catcher like Mailpit? That's the one Herd Pro feature I'd miss

Because of the nature of the work I'm doing I always connected to the mail tools we had in place, I completely forgot about that feature!! You're right definitely an addition that's needed thank you!

Glad it helps! 🙌 Feels like it'd fit nicely in your current setup: Mailpit as another user service like Valkey, SMTP on 127.0.0.1:1025, and the web UI proxied to https://mail.test. Plus a ready-made .env snippet in the Databases tab 👌
