English is great because most models are trained on it but if token efficiency is what you're after, you'd better learn Sanskrit, Simplified Chinese or caveman :D

Yeah, chinese is a good candidate AI or not though! To be honest, at least for my workloads I had not see any perf penalties for using spanish. Last time I suggested this on twitter, many folks jumped at me saying that it would perfom really bad. Perhaps that was the case on older models but thankfully it hasn't been an issue for me
