Up to October 2024, PowerBI developers worked with binary files they held on their desktop, often retaining sensitive company data inside of them. Microsoft rolled out a text-based format for data models, allowing BI developers to turn into proper developers with CI/CD processes, testing, etc. Anyone on this platform working on open source tools for this rather proprietary environment?
