Finally trying out Supernative and I gotta say I haven't been this impressed in a long, long time.

Does someone know why virtually no tool allows "close to the left" on tabs? This ranks very high on my software frustration list.

I hope the French translation of "nullers" doesn't become "nullards"

My recent philosophy: instead of "making AI do the repetitive tasks" I try to have AI build a deterministic tool to do the task, and leave AI the least responsibility possible.
Parsing files and collecting data: script.
Giving me insight on the data: AI. Not AI from the top…
I like this approach. And keep the build process iterative: ship a first version of the script then improve it when you hit new edge cases.
Yes, I've found the better Claude models are pretty good at taking this approach automatically - they will reach for a tool or build one to undertake most repetitive tasks where a deterministic outcome is possible. But then again, I work almost exclusively inside Claude Code -…
Finally have found the right words about what bothers me with AI.
It is non-deterministic, and clashes with my programmer love for determinism and idempotency.
Would you love it if you turned the temperature all the way down to 0 so that the same prompt always results in the same answer?

It's amazing the number of people in the industry that were uninformed, or unbothered, by the CVE.

Unfortunately had to cancel today since I have to fix PHP vulnerabilities 🫠
I am blocking robot slop from entering the codebase so much that I think my job title should be come
HumanCaptchaHey but the good news is I will be billing "emergency" fees to deal with the vuln. Silver linings etc... I guess
Gonna be a fun day dealing with my usually reluctant client and convince them to update their legacy Laravel and PHP 7.x boxes.

Loving this. This is exactly the reason why I don't like browsing X anymore.
Thanks for the awesome work.
proud to announce our new "zero-crap" policy for /dev/null
break the rules and you get a timeout.. 3 timeouts and we start thinking about a ban
