raise the PR but why not support all emojis?
Raising it 🙌 I kept it to a small set on purpose: the star row stays readable at a glance, every flavor fits the dev vibe, and nothing needs moderating. Full emoji turns it into Slack reactions. Open to it if people want it though!
create an emoji tray, then it can go into the composer too?
Nice idea, a shared tray could work for both. The composer already suggests emoji when you type a :shortcode: though. Keeping this one small first, the PR is up: https://github.com/nunomaduro/dev-null.sh/pull/617 A reusable tray could be a good follow-up 👀

Hidden gem 😄 just type a colon and start typing the name, it pops up suggestions. Works in remotes too
