Neither? Sort of... I have a personal system that handles it all called "project." So "p commit COMMITCOMMENT", or mkproject, etc. It all wraps git and gh. Mostly because I have been through eras of floppy backups, ftp backups, CSV, Mercurial, and Subversion and so I don't exactly care anymore about the details.
