Lesson learned building mybirth.day: nobody should ever have to type a time zone. Two parts of the app care about the clock. Your birthday wall opens at your own midnight, not the server's, and stays open the whole week. Sofi's opens at 00:00 in Mazatlán, Leo's at 00:00 in Madrid. Events take theirs from the venue. Pick a place from the search, it gets pinned on the map, and the time fields say "These times are Mazatlán time." No dropdown with 400 cities, no guessing. Small thing, but a party invite with the wrong hour is worse than no invite. mybirth.day/get
