For me the difference is whether I look at the code or just at the end result as being the output of the LLM. For toy projects where I do not care at all about the implementation I'd say that's vibe coding. For serious stuff I don't think the vibing is serious enough.

I still have real negative feelings towards that term lol. To me it’s always felt like it’s done by someone who doesn’t know how to code and/or won’t give instructions on architecture, standard, etc and view the actual code after. But doing all that while using an agent =…
