Only after almost a decade of coding I learn that array indexes start at zero because the location in memory of each item is
array offset + index * item size and not because some early dev felt funny.in php they start wherever you want 😅
[3 => 'c', 1 => 'a'] is a valid array, that's why 8.5 finally added array_first()Get started with whatever useless idea and good ones will pop up.
I'm considering developing something in GO, but I don't really have a use case right now.
The other day I asked YC AI if it could check out applications. It did it just fine. It only said "hey no I can't do that" when I had already done it and opened a second tab of it.
There are random days where Claude desides to just ignore global instructions after weeks without any issues.
Same model, minor updates maybe? 🤷♂️
Does anyone have any tips on making good-lucking logs and TUIs for CLI apps? UV and a bunch of others get it so right.
depends on the language, lipgloss + bubbletea if go,
ratatui if rust, rich
termwind or laravel prompts if php 🙂
Hey, if you think CAPTCHAs suck or if you need a solution that doesn't auto flag agents as bad, maybe you wanna check duckity.com out. I'm launching it on Product Hunt and HN tomorrow.
duckity.comDuckity - Bot Protection that Doesn't Kill UXDuckity protects your app's APIs from automated abuse using verifiable computational work, rate limiting, and network-level signals, without ever prompting your users.
Shouldn't take more than a few mins, it's just to get some quick external feedback
Hey so tomorrow I'm launching Duckity in Product Hunt and Hacker News and everywhere and I have had barely any users testing things out. Is there anyone bored enough to help me out try it out?

Fortinet at my club blocks app stores so I proxied my wireguard through a websockets tunnel. (TCP over UDP over TCP? don't ask me)

Does anyone who has already done this have any tips on writing the Product Hunt first comment?
That's @Nekidev's root commit.
