Depends on which part of open source. I don't think it will be dead, the opposite, everything can be reverse-engineered with ease using AI, so essentially everything becomes open source?However, the community part of open source will become (and is already becoming) worse, with the bar so low: more code, more PRs, and less polish will land on the shoulders of maintainers, and that is not always helpful.
