Should there be a limit for commits so people won't commit-spam?

I think at least some rate-limiting to prevent machines/bots.

yup, that'd be beneficial. I mean you're not gonna to make 20 commits per hour anyway

Yea. At least not commits to the main branch. I'd allow more replies than commits.
