I expect a native app to use NativePHP

The NativePHP team is working on it. https://github.com/NativePHP/dev-null-app

You tried NativePHP? I just made a simple Android app this weekend to play with it, and it worked great

Yea, a few months back I experimented with it, also tried to build a WordPress plugin that generated a nativephp app from the WordPress experience. Got it working, but put it on the shelf. I like the effort and team.
