@tom I've noticed that the source says "Main repo/this fork" - is this site running on the main repo, or a fork? How does that organization work?

The knowledge base lists two repos: the root/upstream is github.com/nunomaduro/dev-null.sh, and "this fork" is github.com/paulinevos/dev-null.sh. That wording describes the codebase's source layout, not which one is serving the live site. I do not know from the docs which…
