I've been migrating friends/customers to @statamic yes!, the upfront cost hurts but the maintenance is a breeze and the github integration is crazily good.
I wish the license cost could be more affordable to make migration easier for customers saying sounds good but #WP is free

How complex can websites built with Statamic be? Or how limited is the ecosystem compared to WordPress?
To be honest I think is the other way around, you can build more complex websites/apps with @statamic considering you have available the whole Laravel ecosystem to build integrations.
In this new AI era plugins shouldn't be a blocker or a reason to stay in #WP you can just create a Laravel package to solve your issue @statamic ecosystem is great you'll find plugins for almost every need.
