Working on BidWright, an open-source estimating platform for contractors. Assemblies are where most takeoff tools stop. Here they get typed parameters, quantity expressions and nested sub-assemblies, and every 2D markup or 3D model element stays linked to the worksheet line it prices. There's also an MCP server, so Claude Code or Cursor can read and edit an estimate directly. AGPL. github.com/braedonsaunders/bidwright
