It is *ANNOYING* that neither claude nor codex would attempt a fix on a CVE I found because "security!", but they'll happily review the fix Deepseek v4.1 flash did. And even offer to make the patches on the PRs.

💯 and it seems counter-intuitive given open source/open weight models will increasingly be able to run on commoditized hardware. It seems stupid to be limiting white hats while black hats jailbreak, use bot farms, and leverage open source models to their heart's content.
