I'm a senior backend developer from the Netherlands with over 20 years of experience in PHP development, including more than 13 years with Symfony.

I enjoy building reliable, maintainable applications and working with teams that value clean code, collaboration and pragmatic solutions.

A couple of things I'm tinkering with in my spare time:

• Job Application Tracker – An open-source, self-hosted and privacy-first application for tracking job applications, built with Symfony.
• MediaInfo for Synology DSM – An integration I'm developing to make MediaInfo's detailed media file information accessible directly from Synology's File Station.

I'm exploring AI-assisted development with tools like Claude Code and Codex, using them for coding, reviews, refactoring and planning while keeping code quality and maintainability in focus.
