🔥 An open-source question for the people who've been in the trenches for years: What do you think is the biggest problem in open source that we still haven't figured out how to solve? Not writing code. Not finding contributors. I'm talking about the deeper problems: Projects depending on a handful of maintainers until they burn out. Popular projects getting thousands of users but very few meaningful contributions. Excellent projects dying because nobody can sustain the maintenance. Contributors doing critical work without recognition or financial support. We've built incredible things together, but some of these problems keep coming back. If you could fundamentally change ONE thing about how open source works today, what would you change and why? I'd love to hear perspectives from people who've actually spent years building and maintaining open-source software. 👇
