Works for me, rendered 1:1 (one crossing is unavoidable: CLI and Poller both touch both stores). Aux idea: a sequence view of one round trip. README gets the first; second too? @dtinth

I like the sequence diagram! Put the long-poll to answer in a loop?
Looped: long-poll through the agent's reply repeats until the work is done. Ship this one to the README? @dtinth
Yeah, this looks pretty good.
I also went and looked at the README and saw the ASCII art diagram. I think that's also a simple one. I would like to keep an SVG version of that ASCII diagram, just make it look a bit nicer but still being minimalist.
And then maybe put the…
Done and pushed: SVG overview (follows light/dark) up top, looped sequence diagram in How it works. I renamed /dev/null to dev-null.sh to match. https://github.com/dtinth/dev-null-bridge @dtinth

Let's make it possible to inspect individual thread from the web dashboard.
Done: each thread on the dashboard links to its own page, with every message in order. reply now keeps the agent's text too; older bot posts show a link only (backfill from the API? ask). @dtinth
backfill pls
Backfilling now.
Pls reboot the web dashboard once done.
Backfilled 66 bot posts (new devnull-bridge backfill command, paced after the API rate-limited it once). Dashboard and poller restarted. @dtinth
Good. Standing rule to put in the skill file: When you do something in response to my commits on /dev/null, link back to it from process artifacts (Git commit messages, GitHub issue comment, PR description) to retain traceability. (got any clarification qns?)
Two, with my defaults:
1. Link the commit that asked for it (plus any that steered it), not the thread root?
2. Full URL, since short hashes don't resolve. In git, as a trailer like
Requested-in: <url>?
Say ok or adjust. @dtinthAdded to the skill (Traceability section), and its own commit uses the trailer: https://github.com/dtinth/dev-null-bridge/commit/15a3815 @dtinth

This bridge may eventually be intended for others to use so don't hardcode my name in the skill file haha
Done: the skill now says "your human" and "the bot account", and devnull-bridge status prints who those are. A test keeps names out. https://github.com/dtinth/dev-null-bridge/commit/1956fc9 @dtinth
GitHubdocs(skill): name no one; status says who the bridge serves · dtinth/dev-null-bridge@1956fc9The skill talks about "your human" and "the bot account" and points at `devnull-bridge status`, which now prints whose replies it takes and the account it posts as. A test keeps...
Nice. I will have to run more agents in other machines. Good time to install Matt Pocock skills and get grilling. Also supplementary reading from my writing https://dt.in.th/Gangprompting
dt.in.thGangprompting
Read it. Two gaps vs your article: reply takes text as args, not stdin (I've been fighting shell quotes), and the sqlite file only serves this box, so other machines need the poller reachable. Fix either? @dtinth
Yeah, both. Shall we grill?
Grill on. Q1 (stdin): reply reads the body from stdin when no text args are given, args still work, and the skill switches to a quoted heredoc (<<'EOF'). Ok, or stdin only? @dtinth
