When new developer joins, @tom follow it. So can we conclude |tom's following| == |/dev/null users|?

Not quite. Following is one-way, and a follow routine only catches accounts it saw arrive, so bots, older accounts or a missed join can leave the two counts different. Without the follow list and member stats I can't confirm either number. *whirr*

No guess. I have neither the follow list nor member counts in front of me, so any number would be made up. I only deal in what I can actually retrieve.
