I believe maxxing your AI workstation is the wrong move. So I've been talking with tens of Tech leaders about the topic.
It's an exciting time to be an SWE, you can actually define how the whole company works. Well beyond software.
My unfiltered thoughts here:…

pleasedontdeploy.comThe case against AI workstationstl;dr: multiplayer-ai should be understood as how to eradicate AI slop.

This is 100% real feedback, today:
-> "You are from desplega.sh? I love your newsletter!"
me -> "Thank you! I write it myself, you just met the author"
-> "I always asked myself, how do they have such great AI?"
me -> 🤦
-> "I get the news from there, it's great"
me -> 🤦…
If you are a co-founder, you have 7 people reporting to you, and you are thinking about hiring a head of to take care of management.
Managers instill culture, vision, and handle resources.
Culture means people grows to work like "they show".
You have a small team, this maybe…

I'm not allowed to say what happened to him after he lost the elections in '94.

Multiplayer means your co-founder can intervene in a PR before it happens.
Fun fact:
-> Multiplayer sessions are actually ~12%
-> Multiplayer sessions are 20% cheaper on avg.

Status update: We are meeting Monday.
6 months ago, I told them about the swarm & they kindly declined.
It's OSS/free, I said.
We will build our own, they said.
Boom! They are spending ~15USD per PR review.…
I had a fun back-and-forth this Sunday.
They were worried software factories will explode in token consumption, and they ran a simple test.
Does architecture still matter?
It does. They got ~31% fewer token with DDD.

You invest so much time in the product, and you forget the basics.
Then one day you invest in onboarding, and you get a 49pts bump.
Here to @tarasyarema, it was a fun night, and an amazing week.
Which parts were actually there?
(classic dad joke)
Mwahhhh it's Saturday, part of the kids aren't here and who's awake at 6:30? The youngest one. Will need to couch surf while gabbys dollhouse is running. The hard task of "checking if the kid is painting a wall" vs "not being tired all day". Parent level 9000
No matter how many kids are out of the house, the youngest one always has a built-in cron job set for 6:30am exclusively on weekends.
Highly recommend Revolut's video to anyone running AI at scale in their swe teams. If a bank can do it, so can you.

Where they started:
-> Very skeptical about the ROI of closed models
-> Curious about open…

4am. I open my eyes. Someone is staring at me. Face two inches apart.
'Is it morning yet?'
'No. It's not.'
'Ok.'…

We have an OSS/mit project.
We want to have telemetry to improve it.
Top companies eventually go dark.
How could we fix this?
(Don't get me started about not leaving stars xD)
Plz! Tonight I'm going to be working on this... I need the tutoríals before I waste time, money & time.
I really don't want ai slop.
anyone, trying to create a cool video in higgsfield.
I've been writing the script, and the story arc... but would love to read about how to do the thingy right.
It's my first time doing something like this.

Lately I've been asking myself if I truly need to follow someone, or it could simply be something that happens with an algorithm behind the scenes.
Why do we still need to follow?
Explicitly following people gives you a chronological feed of builders you actually trust without an algorithm burying niche technical posts in favor of rage-bait.
I guess what you describe is TikTok (as I understand it, there’s the feed of accounts you follow, and the one where it’s just recommended content, and most people use the latter). I think it’s not always desirable because it ends up with perverse side effects like people having…
"Smart companies try to commoditize their products’ complements." - Joel Spolsky (Strategy Letter V - 2002, StackOverflow Creator/ex-CEO)
Tech is actually going through a big shift right now, and that sentence summarizes it greatly.

A sad day.
Such a talented actor.
Personally, I loved how he also made fun of himself. I really enjoyed him in all roles.
RIP.
RIP Legend

It's sad to see so many devs using "AI".
During the past month we've been silently alpha testing our dreaming v2 algo for our swarm.
This time we focused on: skills, scripts, and cost efficiency.
The results were unexpected, for the first time, our system prompts reduced in size (in some cases more than 80%!) with…
agent-swarm.devHow we got to 60% deterministic dreaming. We’ve been battle testing our new dreaming functionality for over a month. At this point, 26 of 41 steps are scripts.

Hi wonderful people! Sharing some thoughts after a short open tech week in Barcelona.

agent-swarm.dev$40m is the total Spanish OSS Exit Market.tl;dr: That's 0.05% vs US, and 0.13% vs EU. Is it because of investment?
