AI is rapidly changing the IT industry and making a certain kind of skills (and roles) irrelevant/obsolete. Here’s what I think will happen: - People who are in it for money, will learn new skills and find alternative income streams. - People who like solving hard problems, will find hard problems in adjacent fields and keep solving hard problems. - People who like the creative/builder aspect will find other mediums to bring their ideas to life. The future will be the hardest for people whose identity was built around being a programmer, rather than solving problems or building things.
