There's the existing did:web option so it could leverage one's GitHub Pages option to do something like did:web:jalcine.github.io and handle the resolution dance there (I might do this for my own personal use of https://jalcine.github.io/ tbh)

I mean, the adage in the ATProto space is that "you can do anything", lol. Someone could make a DID that resolves to a GitHub profile (like did:github:jernst) but I imagine that'll require GitHub's blessing.
