Idea: so if username isn't here it fallback to GitHub 👀 Basically you can mention someone if it's not here 404 username will he redirected to GitHub usename 👀 That was we can also support mentions in bio (like @paulinevos has) and even release notes will fall back to GitHub!

Also if user joins in future he/she will join via GitHub username anyways 👀

Nice idea. If you detect a 404 on here and provide an external link you can prefix it with a github icon so people can see its different to the link for this platform.
