Opt-in lane dimming is available for those who liked it from Settings -> Appearance. It's default off now.

Yeah, opened a quick poll (https://dev-null.sh/@xHeaven/commits/01a153d5-b3f0-7152-a8db-daf27488d8dc), people who didn't like it were in majority, but removing it entirely didn't feel fair to those who did like it. Hopefully it's better now? 👀
