At some point they aren't developers, and instead the just same as somebody who pays another company to do the work. As that's what they are doing, regardless of if it is a person or a machine making the code and sending it back to them. AI is Dilberting thought.
In my case my company is forcing the usage and tracking it so I really don't have a choice on the matter. I still review the code and manually test to verify things but overall they want the actual code to be created using AI.
