I made pux, a small CLI tool written in Go to save commands under a short name and run them by that name. I made it for myself and I'm sharing it in case it's useful to you. Commands are plain text files in one folder. It works on macOS, Linux and Windows. https://github.com/kyukey/pux Try it if it sounds useful. If not, that's fine too.
