Best of luck! I've been through that process (albeit for 3.x->5.x->7.x) on a legacy system and it was excruciating! 😂 Back in the days where AI was just Will Smith not trusting a blue-faced robot... Thankfully we got the green light to rewrite the entire system in Laravel. Our old system was effectively switched off a week ago. What I will say, though, is that if it wasn't having to go through these projects over the years, I wouldn't be half the developer I am now. It's a double-edged sword in some ways isn't it? I feel sorry for new developers... it must be so hard to be disciplined enough to put the legwork in. But, enough for me to want to do it again? Hell no 😂
