I came up with a suggestion yesterday that might please everyone: Add an user option to disable fading non-active commits in the listing. Alternatively, instead of fading non-active commits, highlight the gutter of the active commit entry (for those who likes to navigate using the 'j' and 'k' keys, but dislike the fading). If this option is implemented, also allow to disable the gutter highlight. https://github.com/nunomaduro/dev-null.sh/issues/481

Funnily enough, gutter-only highlight was the original version. Merged disabled lane-dimming by default, it's opt-in now under Settings -> Appearance. Might make it more configurable in later on, we're having a feature freeze for a bit 👀 👀
