How do you handle specs nowadays? It’s easy to iterate quickly and the product may change quite a lot. Do you use AI to backfill the specs with the latest changes? Or do you still start with writing specs first and then you follow up implementing that? How do you check specs drift? Just to put that into perspective - we tend to have very vague specs like “let the user do X” and I do the exploration/iterations and pass the “best” variant back to the PM for approval. But that means we don’t have any other trail of “what’s the expected behavior” anywhere else than code. It may be that just our process (or lack thereof) is just wrong 🤷‍♂️

It depends... hehe... I'm usually meticulous when I know it's going to be complex. Sometimes I go to plan mode. But most of the time I'm more direct, but always trying to offer some extra detail.
