Is it truly wasting time or do you continue to learn working on these projects? I have a similar feeling some days.

I wonder about the same thing. However, I would say the answer is no. I'm not learning much, I think I would learn a lot more by focusing on one product most of the time, because I would have to tackle problems other than the usual technical ones, which the AI more or less handles on its own now
