OpenAI is losing me.
I'm paying $100/month for Codex.
In the last 30 days, I've barely touched it and I have 3 banked resets too.
Every time I give GPT another shot (and I swear I keep trying), the whole process feels so tedious that I end up switching back to Opus 5.5.
It's honestly sad.
Opus 5.5 has been out for over a month and from where I'm standing, OpenAI seems more focused on shipping products nobody asked for than catching up in the areas that actually matter.
Focus on the MODELS.
Am I the only one feeling this way?

This might sound strange to you, but I'm on the opposite side—I gave Claude Code several tries and ended up with total reverts (it's too aggressive). This issue is most likely project-dependent.
Try cursor, i like it a lot!
