I’m building GPTree and Foremerge, mostly working across Python, Rust, TypeScript, Vue and Laravel. These days, coding agents write most of the code with several running in parallel but I still like to get my hands dirty. Writing code for 31 years, been a director and CTO for the last 10 but never stopped building. Writing code has stopped being the slow part though. Keeping track of what each agent is changing, catching conflicting plans and maintaining the apps and planning new features is where most of my time goes now when Im not trying to scale the company. My hot take, Laravel and its ecosystem are the frameworks that everyone building web apps with agents should be using. Obviously everything has its place and I build a lot with Python and Rust but I've been a loyalist since v3.0.
