Not really, I just think that in general all social networks should not carry our posts “forever” Ppl should still let things be preserved if they want, but I’d personally like to keep my digital footprint down to the minimum 🙃

I guess that is a fair point. Personally I operate under the basic assumption that things I post stay on the internet, much like one should assume that people remember what you said offline. In that sense I can also see how disappearing messages could be abused, but either way I am not particularly for nor against it. Giving people the choice seems to be a good middle-ground I guess.
