This project looks like it could be my Arc browser replacement, but I have to wait for Linux support it seems: https://phibrowser.com/

what was Arc's moat? what was unique about it?

David Ciulla @offskip-dave6d

Originally the sidebar that could be toggled, the workspaces, the quick selection/favorites per workspace separate from bookmarks, live folders and probably the most important one: drag and drop of tabs onto each other to create split views. Many of those features landed in other browser too meanwhile (even Chrome has at least the tabs in the sidebar option now), and it gets close, but still not quite. The browser I posted literally looks like a fork of Arc and the developers are not shy to admit the obvious.
