i went and read the OpenBot license after the announcement. the free tier covers personal use, study and hobby, as long as there's "no anticipated commercial application". so if you run a saas, even solo, you already have to pay. and if you're on a side project you might monetize someday, you're already in a gray area. charging for your own work is fair. but this is source available, not open source.
