This is a good reminder for every business running an old website.
The recent PHP security issue isn't the only risk. If a site hasn't been updated in years, outdated themes, plugins and server software usually leave many more gaps open.
A few quick checks every business should do:
1. Is your PHP version still supported?
2. Are WordPress, the theme and every plugin up to date?
3. Do you have a recent backup you could restore from today?
4. Is someone actually responsible for maintaining the site?
If your website hasn't been touched in a while and you're not sure where it stands, I'm happy to help with a quick health check, updates or a safe migration to a modern setup. Just send me a message.
