.env.local files with dummy mock credentials for AI agent coding sessions instead of sharing our main staging keys. Giving an agent access to read files is great for context, but keeping real sandbox API tokens out of its context window saves a lot of sleepless nights.commit b40cc6c
Works great until your local dev environment needs to make actual API calls to external systems to work. You will need to prepare mock data for that as well in that case.
