Things that I haven't need to think about is unsigned int overflows.
but if you need to check a + b > c you need to break it down to two conditions to avoid overflows:
b > c || a > c - b
anyway I stumbled upon this while handling allocation alignment and it's so easy to mess this up.commit df44efb
