Semver needs to die. Especially for young software and with AI this doesn't make sense anymore. I can't even remember when I released my latest patch release.

i never thought it made sense. it’s so arbitrary.
for automatic updates it makes a lot of sense. I want to assume that a patch does not break things. Moreover I see on the first view if there is a new feature because of the minor bump. Therefore I assume that a new feature might introduce more code changes and therefore needs a little more testing. But I'm ending up on 0.9384793247.0 soon :D
