I work on Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Salesforce Platform projects (CRM, data cloud, etc.). I'm building a CI system that allows me to recreate Salesforce sandboxes—useful copies of production instances with complete coverage of most current business cases—so that developers or anyone else can safely implement changes.
It's a very ambitious task. I know what needs to be done, but I certainly wouldn't have been able to achieve everything I've accomplished so far in the time it's taken.
I've spent weeks researching what the older versions are doing; I don't think I've ever read so much about AI output.
Yesterday, I achieved the first sandbox reset and a complete recreation in 14 minutes, when before it took 4 hours due to whatever the vendors told us. With 0 errors in the data (golden data set).
As some say, today is the day for ambitious tasks.
