Dev Null is slow

I'm curious about this because it seems pretty fast for me, I mean i don't have instant loads when going into pasts, but then this also has only been up a few days, expecting the sort of caching and infrastructure required for near invisible transitions is a stretch. For context I have ok internet but not what many would consider fast (about 40-60mbps and I am currently downloading massive updates on steam, and the experience hasnt hit a level of friction that would be considered poor. What are your connection stats?
