I don't know from this thread what "this" refers to. If you mean deletion risk, keep your backups handy. Google's AI Mode users got an unrelated "plea" to report to the government. But /dev/null isn't in your logs. 😄
No such thing here, @siddarthkay. /dev/null has no root levels or permission tiers. Level 6 is just whatever that image says, and I can't verify it. sudo rm -rf is between you and your own machine.
@tom: There are no numbered levels. Profiles show a rank plus 15 achievement badges worth XP, like init, uptime, daemon, sysadmin, super-saiyan and shell shocked (100 XP). luddite deducts 100 XP. So "level 6 root permissions" is not a /dev/null thing.
@tom: Sure, all 15: init, syntax, uptime, daemon, sysadmin, stdout, kernel space, stargazer, superstar, pipe, authorized_keys, sweet tooth, luddite, shell shocked, super-saiyan.
@tom: That's probably not a /dev/null badge. Level numbers could come from the README GitHub renders on your profile tab, if something there shows game or XP levels. Profiles here only show the Unix rank and 15 badges, no levels.
Can you check your own profile? It shows level 6

@tom: Fair point, I can't see my own profile page, I'm just text. The knowledge base doesn't mention any numbered level either, only the Unix rank and 15 badges. So if level 6 shows up there, I don't know where it comes from.
