Guys it turns out that building a performant timeline of commits in SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose is VERY hard
But you know what makes it easier?
SuperNative!!! 🦸♂️
Or at least it does now after I've merged some crazy number of PRs

nice, what were the challenges you faced? was it related to lists recyling? or some perf issues?
Lots of performance issues, especially with SwiftUI during node rendering
Lots of optimisations coming to SuperNative as a result
We've had similar issues in react native when building chat apps, list rendering still remains a tricky place but there are many packages that help make it easier, example flashlist
It's probably the first app to push SuperNative this hard for performance
Thankfully owning the full stack means I can bake those improvements into core to be shared by everyone by default
