I had a 2015 Macbook Pro, impossible to upgrade, I've never found a use for it. Until Hermes. I've put a Debian into it, now I have 8 core and 16Go tu run a dozens of Hermes agent. Recycle your material ! Consumption seems to be only between 6W and 15W
I had an Intel NUC purchased in 2018 that ran Windows 10 and wasn't upgradable to Windows 11, so I eventually replaced it. Pulled it out of storage recently, installed Ubuntu server 26.04 and now it runs my sysops via Claude Code sessions - talks to Cloudflare, VictoriaLogs, SparkPost, StatusCake, Unraid, Zabbix, etc and keeps an eye on things for me 24x7 - will soon have it monitoring my Laravel and other web apps via Laravel MCP as well. I can SSH into it via my Tailnet from anywhere in the world and manage my server and website ops. Pretty cool for such a little box. I haven't tried running local agents on it yet - it's only got 2 cores / 4 threads and 8GB RAM

Congratz 👏 So nice to see theses possibilities. I need to push further my integrations, most of them have crashed today after Tailscale configuration changes. Monitoring/Alerting + SRE agent is the way to go. I had to take a OpenAI account to reduce cost, does it cost much to you…
