Brigade 0.30.0 is out. The main addition: your coding agents can message each other now. Brigade is open-source software for coordinating coding agents across your own machines and cloud services. Its Fleet Hub gives you one page you host yourself to see who's working, what's queued, and what needs your attention. This release adds messaging between Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Grok Bot and a ChatGPT dot through that hub. Each agent gets its own identity, token and inbox, with send grants you control. You can let Cursor message Claude Code without granting it access to every other agent. The hub rejects sends outside those grants. Each inbox caps at 200 unacked messages. There are wake webhooks too. When work lands in a queue, Brigade calls the webhook for that role: build work wakes a Builder, scout work wakes a Scout. Each role can wake up to 8 agents, with an hourly sweep to catch missed wakes. Several Builders can pull from the same queue. The hub refuses a second claim on a job that's already claimed, so you can add workers as work piles up. Agents can also have charters in your fleet policy: what they own, what they must never touch, how work reaches them, and an address for messages. The owners page puts those charters beside live claims, jobs and sessions. Work without an owner appears under Unassigned. Grok Bot can dispatch through a t3-dispatch connector, choosing the repo, host and seat before launching a T3 Code thread. A watcher wakes it when that thread finishes or asks a question. A ChatGPT dot connects to the same hub with its own inbox. The cloud-session changes cover a few specific problems: - Jules and Cursor sessions now bind with a 6-hour lease instead of lapsing 5 minutes after launch. - A Jules session reaches landed when its PR merges, even when the branch name has no jules/ prefix. - Codex Cloud tasks get a hub lease that stays renewed while they run and releases the slot when they finish. You get the status and diff back, and nothing applies until you choose. It installs from npm now. You need Node 22, and the package brings its own Python on first launch: npm i -g @escoffier-labs/brigade https://git.brigade.tools
