Who wants to shoot elephants in DOOM written in PHP? https://github.com/getelephc/doomgetelephc/doom

php finally passed the "can it run doom" test 🔥 and as a native binary with no vm, what fps does it get ?

Fps are capped by vsync, so on my mac 120 fps and on my linux machine 60 fps. But on both, disabling vsync (pressing v), goes up to 600/700 fps.

wait the original doom was capped at 35 fps so php is running it almost 20x faster than 1993 🔥

Next milestone, GTA VI :D
