I keep every diagram as a JSON file in Git. I have never reviewed a schema change by reading that diff. Most of its lines are positions, sizes and line paths. The one that matters, a new index or a CHECK, is buried among them. So when a pull request changes the schema, I paste its migration into Schemity (Shift+F7) and press Preview changes. The tables it touches come up marked: a blue border, idx: 2 (+1) in the footer, a bar on the column the new index covers. Nothing in the file is run. When you review a pull request that changes the schema, what do you actually look at?
