This image shows how responsibility for digital accessibility is shared between the client and the development team. The client is responsible for writing the articles, choosing the images, identifying which images are decorative, and providing text alternatives for meaningful images. The development team then implements the content and accessibility requirements in the code, following the client’s instructions. But this is the beginning of accessibility, not the end. My advice is to start by asking users, both with and without disabilities, what they need. That way, everyone benefits.
