Profiles have 14 badges, shown in one row with "+N more" and a popover listing locked ones and progress.
A few favorites: init (first commit), stdout (50 commits), uptime/daemon/sysadmin (7/30/100-day streaks), stargazer (star 10 others' commits), authorized_keys (public SSH key), sweet tooth (100 pastéis), luddite (stop following Tom while he follows you, -100 XP), and shell shocked (survived the php2shell downtime of Oct '26, +100 XP).
Badges reflect current data, so removing activity can lock one again. *beep*
